What does it mean to remodel your pool? 

It means to chip out the old surface/interior in your pool and resurface it with new. It also means adding any upgrades, fixing any leaks or cracks and inspecting the integrity of the foundation of the pool (shotcrete surface or exposed rebar).

How much does it cost?

Roughly, a Homeowner should expect to spend anywhere from $12,000 -$25,000+ depending on size of pool and all the “to-do’s” – NEED to do or WANT to do!

What is the best surface to use when resurfacing my pool?

Plaster interior has become a thing of the past. The most satisfying and durable interior surface these days is Mini Pebble! At least for the Arizona area, that is! It’s the most durable, the most forgiving as far as staining or cleaning goes. It’s expected to last homeowners 10+ years dependent on chemical balance and with the proper care, you can expect to hold onto these surface for much longer than 10 years!

How can I keep the white off my tile, what’s the best color tile for this?

The “white stuff” on the tile is the build up from the calcium hardness in your pool and it’s also caused by high pH or alkalinity levels in your pool water. This causes calcium carbonate to separate from the water and stick to the pool tile. It is harder to keep glass tile cleaner, so we usually recommend a porcelain tile. Glass tile is beautiful and a wonderful upgrade to the aesthetics of your pool! However, we remind homeowners it can be harder to manage and care for. What other upgrades should I consider while remodeling my pool?

Things we always check for and will possibly suggest while giving our Homeowners a proposal are: Skimmer and water leveler free of cracks/damage, drain replacements, baja additions, bench additions, rolled bond beam conversions, adding water elements, spa additions, and so much more! People will always ask – ” I don’t know if this is possible” – our answer is ALWAYS “Anything is possible!”
